Our running route

21,1 k
After about 1,3km the runners use well known paths along the roads from Bensberg to Forsbach. As always we offer a route balanced by firm wood paths and 6,5km blocked road, just as routes through the Königsforst wood. The route profile is divercified and wavy. The wolf way between km 7 and km 8 is a little more challenging. The last kilometres also slope slightly to medium upwards towards the finish. Neverhteless there are plenty of flat and downhill passages along the route. The circuit is good to run no matter what weather conditions are present. The Königsforst Marathon and half marathon is one of the oldest lanscape runs in Germany and is a perfect preperation for a City marathon in the spring time.

Marathon and Ultra
Two or three half marathon loops throught the Königsforst woods.
Kilometre indicators 1, 2, 3, 5 and then every 5 km - 3 nutrition spots per round.
If a participants decides after the first round to exit and run into the finish, he/she will automatically be judged as a half marathon participant.

All routes are DLV-measured and accepted by the german running association.
